Austrian airline refused to perform flights on the shortest route in the world.

On the eve of the day the representatives of the Austrian Airlines «People's Viennaline» reported that the airline will cease to perform 8-minute passenger flights on the route St. Gallen-Altenrhein - Friedrichshafen. Denial of service of this route in routing is mainly due to the fact that the carrier has not managed to reach a specified performance of passenger traffic, which, in fact, does not provide a profit to the carrier.

It should be clarified that these flights were late last year, the representatives have argued that the flight load is not less than 80%.
