The bankruptcy of Air Berlin will affect 1500 employees.

According to the trade union of the airline "Air Berlin", the bankruptcy of the German carrier, until recently occupied the second line of the ranking of the largest operators in Germany, will lead to the dismissal of 1,500 people. On the other hand, the bankruptcy of the German air carrier was all expected, however, experts do not exclude that the rest of the staff can be employed in other companies, which will save serious problems.

Today, Lufthansa has announced its intention to acquire Air Berlin for 200 million dollars, however, the German authorities do not approve of these actions, believing that the carrier can thereby create a monopoly in the market for services.
