Biden asks Iran not to attack Israel

US President Joe Biden issued a warning to Iran, categorically discouraging it from launching a retaliatory strike on Israel. This statement was made during a conversation with reporters, where the American leader responded to questions regarding the brewing conflict between the Islamic Republic and Israel.

"Do not do that",” Biden said briefly.

In addition to this, Biden confidently stated that any attempt by Iran to launch a strike would be unsuccessful. The President reaffirmed the United States' continued commitment to Israel's security, which is the core of American foreign policy in the region.

According to information from the Axios portal, Tehran warned Washington about the possible consequences of American intervention. Iran has warned that if the US actively participates in the conflict, US military forces in the region could come under attack. At the same time, it remains unclear whether the targets of the attacks will be exclusively American troops participating in the hostilities, or those who will assist Israel in intercepting Iranian missiles.

It is also known that according to CBS News, it is expected that Iran could carry out an attack in the coming hours, using more than 100 drones and dozens of missiles against Israeli military targets. The United States, in turn, emphasizes its readiness to support Israel in confronting any threats emanating from Iran and its allies.
