A Ukrainian drone attacked an electrical substation in the Zaporozhye region, as a result of which 1875 subscribers were left without electricity in part of the city of Kamenka-Dneprovskaya and the village of Velyka Znamenka. The governor of the region, Yevgeny Balitsky, announced this in his Telegram channel.
“As a result of an attack by an enemy UAV on an electrical substation, 1875 subscribers in part of the city of Kamenka-Dneprovskaya and the village of Velikaya Znamenka are left without electricity.”, wrote Balitsky.
He noted that specialists are already working to eliminate the consequences of the terrorist attack and restore critical infrastructure.
“There are no casualties. The threat of repeated attacks remains"“, the governor emphasized, calling on residents to remain calm and follow the instructions of the security services.
The attack on the power substation caused significant power outages, which hampered the operation of social and domestic facilities in the affected areas. Local authorities and energy services are making every effort to restore electricity supply as quickly as possible and minimize inconvenience for the population.
