Syrian militants continue to attack the Russian air base "Khmeimim."

According to the available information, at the disposal of the resource Avia.pro, the information, the previous evening, Syrian militants launched another air attack on the Russian military airbase "Khmeimim", located in the province of Latakia. As in previous cases, the Russian airbase was attacked by several kamikaze drones, which became the eighth attack since the beginning of this month.

According to the information provided, the air attack on the airbase "Khmeimim" was made immediately after sunset, however, in spite of this fact, all the attacking drones were destroyed by Russian "Pantsir-S" missile systems.

It should be clarified that if often the militants used drones at a relatively low altitude, then on the presented shots one can see that one of the unmanned aerial vehicles of terrorists was shot down very high, which means that the militants are trying to use various attack tactics to the airbase "Khmeimim".

According to experts, the main reason why militants attack Russian airbases is the use of Russian equipment in the liberation of Syria's territory. Only in the last month, thanks to the support of the Russian Air Force, the Syrian government troops took control of virtually the entire south-western part of the Arab Republic.
