Fierce fighting continues in the Kursk region in the north of the Sudzhansky district. Russian assault groups have advanced into the forested areas near the settlement of Malaya Loknya and have begun clearing the territory. The enemy is actively resisting, using reserves transferred from the Sumy region.
According to the command, in the Nikolayevo-Daryino area, Russian servicemen repelled a counterattack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, destroying a German-made Leopard tank and an accompanying group of the enemy. However, despite local successes, the combat contact line (CCL) remains relatively stable, which indicates a high level of intensity of combat operations and strengthening of the enemy's positions.
The Ukrainian side continues to actively transfer reserves from the territory of Sumy Oblast. Russian forces are trying to stop these movements on the march, striking at columns and transport infrastructure. This, however, does not exclude the increase in the number of Ukrainian units in the combat zone.
The situation in the forested areas around Malaya Loknya remains tense. Russian units are conducting a cleanup operation to prevent the enemy from strengthening its positions. At the same time, the Ukrainian army is using the forested landscape for maneuvers and counterattacks.
