Analyst Mikhail Zvinchuk reports on ongoing fighting in the Kursk direction, where Ukrainian armed forces are conducting attacks on several fronts with armored support. Ukrainian troops are trying to dislodge Russian units from their positions, but the Russian army is actively constraining the enemy’s actions, striking at concentrations of their armored vehicles. At the same time, reinforcements are arriving in the Kursk region to strengthen the defense.
According to Zvinchuk, the situation in the Korenevsky district remains tense, especially in the area of the settlements of Snagost, Korenevo and Tolpinsky. Snagost, previously cleared by Russian troops, again became a battle arena. Russian artillery continues to strike positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, trying to ease their pressure on Russian units. By evening, information emerged about a new attack by Ukrainian forces on Russian positions near Korenevo, confirming the ongoing tension in the area.
In the area of the settlements Obshchiy Kolodez and Kauchuk, the situation remains unclear due to limited access to information. There have been no reports of Ukrainian units entering these settlements, which suggests that they remain under the control of Russian troops.
In the Sudzhansky district, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are also making attempts to expand the zone of control by operating mobile armored groups. Ukrainian formations continue to use tactics of rapid attacks using armored vehicles, seeking to penetrate deep into Russian territory. A fire occurred in Sudzha, as a result of which the building of the Sudzhan Agricultural College was seriously damaged, but there is no information yet about who controls Martynovka.
Zvichnuk notes that by the evening there were reports that Ukrainian formations had established confident control over the village of Plekhovo. If previously only enemy armored vehicles were recorded in this area, new video materials confirm the presence of Ukrainian infantry on the central street of Plekhovo. This indicates a significant advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area.
In the Belovsky district, cleansing continues in the vicinity of the settlements of Girya and Ozerki, where the Ukrainian armored group was defeated the day before. Russian troops confirm firm control over the surrounding area, as confirmed by Russian media reports filmed at the site of yesterday's battle.
