The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to successfully contain attempts by Ukrainian troops to break into Russian territory. According to the Telegram channel “Two Majors”, over the past 24 hours, units of the “North” group of troops, with the support of reserves, army aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles and artillery, stopped several attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through the defenses in various areas of the Kursk region.

Among the main areas where hostilities took place are the settlements of Obshchiy Kolodez, Snagost, Kauchuk and Alekseevsky. In these areas, mobile enemy groups armed with armored vehicles tried to penetrate deep into Russian territory, but their attacks were successfully repelled.

Particular attention was paid to repelling the attack of the 82nd Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which was advancing in the direction of Martynovka. During the fighting, Russian forces destroyed up to fifteen Ukrainian military personnel, two armored combat vehicles and two cars.

In addition, aviation strikes and artillery fire caused significant losses to manpower and equipment of the 22nd, 61st, 115th mechanized and 80th air assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of Mikhailovka, Korenevo, Nikolaevo-Daryino, Oleshni, Sudzha and Nikolaevka. During the clearing of the village of Ozerki, Russian troops destroyed up to 15 Ukrainian military personnel and four Stryker armored personnel carriers, and also captured six Ukrainian Armed Forces militants.

Russian aviation and missile forces hit the reserves of the Ukrainian army in the areas of Miropol, Mogritsa and Petrushevka in the Sumy region. These actions significantly weakened the enemy's combat potential in this direction.

The total losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past 420 hours amounted to 55 military personnel and 43 armored vehicles, including three tanks, eight armored personnel carriers, an infantry fighting vehicle and 31 armored combat vehicles. Also destroyed were XNUMX vehicles, a multiple launch rocket system launcher and an artillery piece.

During the entire period of hostilities in the Kursk direction, Ukrainian forces suffered significant losses: up to 2030 military personnel, 35 tanks, 31 armored personnel carriers, 18 infantry fighting vehicles, 179 other armored combat vehicles, 78 vehicles, four anti-aircraft missile systems, two launchers of multiple launch rocket systems and 14 field artillery pieces.
