Footage of an ambush operation carried out by Chechen fighters of the Russian army against a convoy of Ukrainian armored personnel carriers BTR-4E in one of the settlements of the Kursk region has appeared online. A video distributed by the media shows Russian troops firing intensely from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers (RPGs) at enemy armored vehicles moving through the streets of a populated area.

The captured footage shows how fighters of the Chechen unit, holed up in shelters, wait for Ukrainian armored personnel carriers to approach and open fire almost point-blank, hitting targets. Ukrainian armored personnel carriers, in turn, fire their guns on the move.

Fighting in the Kursk region continues, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to transfer large forces to Russian territory.
