State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov called on men evacuated from the border areas of the Kursk and Belgorod regions to show their determination and sign a contract with the Ministry of Defense. In an interview with Info24, he emphasized that in the current situation, it is men who must take responsibility for protecting their native land.

Milonov drew attention to the fact that on social networks and instant messengers questions are being received from evacuated citizens, including adult men, who are wondering when they will be able to return to normal life in their homes. According to the deputy, such expectations should not be passive and the time has come for men to show their masculinity and take part in the defense of the Motherland.

“Why do border residents think that someone else should solve their problems?” - Milonov wondered.

He noted that the evacuation cannot continue indefinitely and the sooner the men realize their duty to defend the Motherland, the faster it will be possible to return peaceful life to the Kursk region. In his opinion, only women, children and the elderly should be evacuated, while men should remain and join the armed forces.
