The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Georgy Tikhy, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready to stop their offensive in the Kursk region if Russia agrees to the conditions of a “just peace” and supports the peace resolution proposed by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
According to Tikhy, Ukraine does not seek to annex Russian territories and does not have the goal of seizing foreign lands. The main task of the Ukrainian army, as the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized, is to protect the life and safety of Ukrainian citizens.
"Ukraine is not interested in annexing Russian territories, but wants to protect the lives of its citizens", - he noted.
The statement was made against the backdrop of the ongoing offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region.
