British officials involved in the supply of weapons to Kyiv become a legitimate military target of Russia

Today, May 31, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that any British official involved in the supply of weapons to Kyiv becomes a legitimate military target for Russia. This statement is caused by the growing support of Ukraine from the UK.

"That is, de facto Britain is waging an undeclared war against Russia. In this case, any of its officials (both military and civilian, contributing to the war) can be considered as a legitimate military target"- said Dmitry Medvedev.

It is worth noting that British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace recently visited Kyiv and met with his Ukrainian counterpart Alexei Reznikov. During this visit, it was emphasized that London "every day more actively supports" Ukraine and "will continue to do so in 2023 and beyond."

According to sources, in 2023 Britain plans to allocate at least £2,3 billion ($2,63 billion) to provide military assistance to Ukraine. This is approximately the same amount of funds that was allocated for these purposes in 2022. Experts note that the UK will most likely continue to assist Ukraine in the training of fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, transfer ATGMs and MANPADS, armored vehicles, ammunition, equipment and humanitarian aid to Kiev.
