Zhukovsky Airport

Fourth Moscow airport will start operating in May

Airport "Zhukovsky" will start its work before the end of May.

According to the Avia.pro aviation resource, the management of the airport "Zhukovsky" has already submitted all the necessary documents to Rosaviatsia in order to obtain the appropriate safety certificate. According to experts, the airport near Moscow will be able to start its work already in May of this year, although it was initially assumed that the work of the fourth air harbor of the Russian capital will begin in March.

At the moment, the management of the airport "Zhukovsky" is actively negotiating with representatives of domestic airlines about the basing of aircraft here, however, it is important to clarify the fact that the airport’s activities are aimed more at offloading other capital air ports, and there is no big passenger traffic, especially in the first year of operation.
