Four newest MiG-35 fighters will go into service with the Russian VKS

The Russian VKS will receive four light MiG-35 fighters.

As TASS informs, the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) in 2019 will be replenished with four light MiG-35 fighters. The contract was signed in August 2018. In accordance with it, in the past year, two combat training MiG-35UB have already been transferred to the troops. Four aircraft to be handed over this year are serial MiG-35S.

A new contract involving the delivery of fourteen MiG-35, is scheduled to be signed in 2020 year. It clarifies the source that provided information TASS, currently Mig-35 - only land-based aircraft. Since a reservation has been made that clarifies the present, it can be assumed that in the future the fighter will also become a sea-based aircraft.

Commenting on the work of the Russian Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation (RSK) MiG, its general director Ilya Tarasenko clarified that the RSK MiG capacities make it possible to build fighter jets using 36 per year. Tarasenko, by the way, announced the possibility of developing a deck version of the aircraft.
