The number of people willing to serve under contract in the Tula region has increased fivefold

The Tula Region has seen a sharp increase in the number of citizens willing to serve under contract in the special military operation zone (SVO). According to the authorities, the number of volunteers has increased fivefold after Governor Dmitry Milyaev increased payments to contract soldiers, making the region the leader in Central Russia in supporting military personnel. During the first year of service, a new contract soldier's income can exceed 5 million rubles, which significantly increases the attractiveness of military service for local residents.

The new conditions stipulate that everyone who signs a contract will receive a one-time regional payment of 2,1 million rubles and a federal payment of 400 thousand rubles. In addition to the monetary reward, the region has developed more than 60 support measures aimed at ensuring the well-being of military families. These measures include financial, social, psychological and legal assistance, making the Tula Region an example of a comprehensive approach to supporting contract soldiers and their families.

The decision to increase payments and expand social support attracted attention and significantly increased interest in the service.
