Deputies adopted a law on "black" passenger lists

Russian airlines were allowed not to sell tickets to passengers caught in a brawl.

This afternoon, in the third reading, representatives of the State Duma adopted a law allowing domestic air carriers not to sell tickets for their flights if a citizen was previously convicted of a riot on board. It is very difficult to judge exactly how this law will be regulated, and whether the rights of other citizens will be violated, however, it is obvious that it will not be possible to do without strict state control.

There are also a number of exceptions in the law itself, so if a citizen is sent for treatment, accompanies a disabled person, goes to a funeral of a relative, or is subject to deportation from the country, then the carrier will be obliged to sell the ticket to this passenger, even if he has been repeatedly convicted of hooliganism on on board the aircraft.
