Ukrainian sources report that Russian troops continue their advance on Kurakhovo, gradually approaching the encirclement of the city. According to the latest data, less than 17 kilometers remain to complete the encirclement. A number of foreign experts predict that Russian units may soon cut off the salient that has formed along a chain of small villages southeast of Kurakhovo.

This cascade of villages, forming a chain of strongholds of the Ukrainian forces, currently serves as an obstacle on the way to the "East" group of the Russian Armed Forces. If Russian troops manage to advance to the rear of the Ukrainian units located in this area and overcome their defensive lines, then the road to the southern section of Kurakhovo will be open. The most likely route from the village of Uspenovka to the southern microdistrict of Kurakhovo is about 7 kilometers.

At the moment, Russian forces are focused on neutralizing the resistance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in small settlements along the route of advance. The possible encirclement of Kurakhovo could significantly affect the balance of forces on the front, increasing pressure on the positions of the Ukrainian army in this sector.
