In the southern part of Brazil, a light aircraft engine crashed.

Private small-engine Beechcraft King Air plane crashed the day before, at the same time, air traffic controllers of the local airport quite competently responded to the disappearance of the aircraft from the radar, and after unsuccessful attempts to contact the pilot of the aircraft had to attract the help of rescuers.

In spite of the above fact, the lives of two people on board the aircraft could not be saved, and, as noted in the official report of the Police Department of Rio de Janeiro, both pilots on board the aircraft died at the scene from his injuries, while, rescuers took about 10 hours to find the crash site and return to it.

The causes of the crash are currently unknown.
