Two Russian Aerospace Forces MiG-31K fighters took off from the Machulishchi airfield in Belarus and were spotted moving towards the southern border. This information came from the Belaruski Gayun project, which monitors the movement of military equipment in the region.

The MiG-31K is a high-speed interceptor capable of carrying the Kinzhal hypersonic missile, making it an important element of Russia’s military strategy. These fighters can hit targets up to 2000 kilometers away, significantly extending their range and making them an effective tool for striking strategic targets.

Despite these developments, experts believe that it is unlikely that Belarus will allow Russia to launch strikes from its territory. This is due to the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces recently received long-range missiles, which creates additional risks for Belarus in the event of retaliatory actions by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
