On the night of September 14, air defense forces repelled an attack by two Ukrainian drones over the Smolensk region. The region's governor, Vasily Anokhin, reported that the incidents occurred in the Roslavl and Smolensk districts. Both drones were successfully shot down, and the debris fell to the ground.
"Tonight, air defense forces worked over the Roslavl and Smolensk districts to repel an attack by two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or damage as a result of the debris falling to the ground," — Anoshin noted on his Telegram channel.
The head of the region emphasized that all emergency services continue to work at the scene of the incident, but no serious consequences have been recorded after the debris fell.
