Erdogan angered Putin: after negotiations, Russian aviation began to deliver crushing blows

Russia has stepped up attacks on terrorists in Aleppo and Idlib.

Erdogan’s talks and ultimatum against Russia over Syria forced the Russian military to only intensify large-scale air strikes against the positions of Turkish military personnel and pro-Turkish militants. So, after less than 12 hours, Russian bombers and fighters not only continued to bombard positions in Idlib and Aleppo, but also significantly strengthened it.

“On Saturday, Russian military aircraft attacked areas in the provinces of Idlib and Aleppo, after relative calm reigned in the de-escalation areas on Friday. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, several areas in southern Idlib were subjected to Russian air strikes without prior information. The Russian Air Force also struck Atarib in the western part of Aleppo province on the night of Friday to Saturday, which coincided with the bombing of Syrian government forces aimed at areas in Deir-Sunbul, Kafr Noble, Hasse and Baskal in Idlib, and also in Atarib and Dara Azza. In the Neyrab region in eastern Idlib, mutual bombardments are taking place between Syrian government forces, on the one hand, and Turkish troops and their armed militants, on the other, ”the Syrian North Press reports.

Experts believe that the increase in airstrikes of the Russian airborne forces is primarily due to the behavior of the Turkish leader, especially since an attempt was made a few days earlier to shoot down a Tu-214R Russian military reconnaissance aircraft - the latter managed to escape from an anti-aircraft missile due to the shooting of heat traps.
