According to official figures, the main reason for the termination of flights by this air carrier is the financial difficulties that have arisen, mainly due to the more than 40% reduction in passenger traffic. However, at the moment we are talking only about a temporary suspension of flights, and closer to the New Year and Christmas holidays, the activities of Estonian Air may be resumed.

According to experts, citizens of the Russian Federation played a significant role in the emergence of financial difficulties for Estonian Air, which largely limited their flights to Estonia, however, there are other reasons besides this, including the lack of demand for most of the routes.
