F-35 finally makes demo flight at Aero India 2025

The American fifth-generation F-35 fighter jet still took part in the flight program of the Aero India 2025 international air show, despite reports that the United States was allegedly going to cancel the flights due to the presence of the Russian Su-57E. This was reported by the Indian publication The Print, which published footage of the F-35 demonstration flight.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov said that the American side had abandoned the demonstration flights of its F-35A and F-16 fighters after learning about the planned participation of the Russian Su-57E. However, videos published by The Print refute these claims - the F-35 performed the planned flight, demonstrating maneuverability and characteristics that attracted the attention of viewers and experts.

The F-35 demonstration was one of the key events of Aero India 2025, which is being held at the Indian Air Force base in Bangalore from February 10 to 14. The exhibition is considered the largest platform for demonstrating new models of military and civil aviation in Asia. This year, the spotlight was not only on the American F-35 and Russian Su-57E, but also on the Indian project of the advanced fifth-generation fighter AMCA (Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft).

The American F-35 fighter is considered one of the most advanced combat aircraft in the world. It is equipped with stealth technology, has high maneuverability and the ability to conduct network-centric warfare. The US is actively promoting the F-35 on international markets, and its demonstration at Aero India is seen as part of a strategy to strengthen its position in the Asian region.
