Slovenian media reported on the upcoming large-scale prisoner exchange between Russia, Belarus, the USA and Germany. According to journalists, this exchange should take place in the coming hours or has already taken place.
Today, a court in Ljubljana sentenced two Russian citizens, Artyom and Anna Dultsev, to one year and seven months in prison for espionage. The couple pretended to be Argentine citizens, but were exposed. Since they have already spent the specified period in custody, the Dultsevs should be deported. Journalists claim they will be part of a major prisoner exchange. It is noteworthy that during all interrogations Artyom and Anna remained silent and did not give any evidence.
In addition, it is reported that Vadim Krasikov, convicted in Germany for the murder of former Chechen commander Zelimkhan Kangoshvili, may be transferred to Russia. Kangoshvili fought against Russia during the second Chechen campaign, and Krasikov was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Belarus, according to journalists, will hand over 30-year-old Rick Krieger to Germany. The German citizen was sentenced to death in Belarus, but was pardoned by President Alexander Lukashenko the day before.
Another participant in the exchange, according to Slovenian media, will be Wall Street Journal journalist Evan Gershkovich, who was sentenced in Russia to 16 years in prison.
