Because of the volcanic activity in Kamchatka, civilian airplanes change routes.
Currently, a serious danger comes from the volcano Shiveluch, which literally the day before threw 5 and 10 kilometer posts of ash, thus creating unfavorable conditions for the movement of air transport. It is assumed that the correction of the route is a temporary measure, and if the volcanic activity begins to weaken, the routes will again be corrected.
Volcanic activity poses a great threat to aircraft, since ash falling into the engine and other parts and components of air transport, can disable them, which in turn can lead to disastrous consequences.
