Greece left open its airspace for Russian aircraft, despite US demands.

According to the information agency Avia.pro, last weekend, the US representatives appealed to the government of Greece with an official requirement regarding the closure of airspace for Russian aircraft. Nevertheless, the authorities of the country were forced to give a refusal to the US embassy in this demand, since the air route by which Russian planes are moved is necessary for the delivery of humanitarian aid to Syria, and, as explained by the representatives of the Greek government, to spoil diplomatic relations with Russia The country does not intend, especially, based on someone's personal interests.

Based on some unofficial data, it must be assumed that the US suspects Russia in the transport of weapons into the territory of Syria, what was announced last week.
