Russian military successfully repelled another attempt at a counterattack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region, the Russian Defense Ministry reports. During the fighting, several enemy units were damaged in the area of ​​11 settlements, including Sudzha.

The counterattack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was aimed at breaking through the defense of the Russian troops and changing the tactical situation in their favor. However, the Russian army successfully held its positions, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment.

In recent weeks, the Kursk direction has become one of the key points of military action. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are making regular attempts to attack Russian positions, using tank and mechanized units. The Ukrainian army is particularly active in areas located along the state border.

Sudzha is one of the strategically important points on this section of the front. Control over this area allows both to strengthen positions and to provide cover for further advancement. However, the increased measures taken by the Russian army allow maintaining control over the situation.
