Hezbollah strikes Israeli targets

The Lebanese Hezbollah movement announced new attacks on Israeli military installations located in the border areas. According to the organization's press service, five artillery strikes were carried out over the past 24 hours. The main focus of the attacks was directed at two groups of Israeli soldiers and reconnaissance equipment in the areas of Kfar Shuba, the occupied Shebaa farms, and also in the El-Ibad area. Hezbollah claims that all of these targets were successfully hit.

Since the escalation of the conflict with Israel began in October 2023, Hezbollah claims to have carried out 1013 attacks on enemy targets. Tensions in the region have risen amid Israeli military action in the Gaza Strip, which has led to intensified clashes between Israel and Hezbollah along Lebanon's southern border. Both sides continue to exchange fire, regularly striking each other's military positions.

This escalation of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah is part of wider tensions in the region, exacerbated by military operations in the Gaza Strip. The situation in the border areas remains extremely tense, and regular attacks highlight the instability and potential for further deterioration of the situation in the Middle East region.
