The plane, flying to Ganja (Azerbaijan) from Moscow, had to land in Astrakhan. The passenger, the citizen of Azerbaijan, arranged a drunken brawl aboard the plane and burst into the cockpit of the pilot. Because of this incident, the commander of the aircraft decided to land at the nearest airport.

Immediately in Astrakhan they were met by employees of the aviation security service, the investigative-operational group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the transport prosecutor.

After some time, the aircraft flew to Ganja. On board was a passenger 162, who did not present any complaints.
