Rostec confirmed India’s interest in buying Su-57 fighters.

India resumed talks with Russia on the purchase of fifth-generation fighter Su-57. This information was presented by Viktor Kladov, director of international cooperation for Rostec, who in an interview with RIA Novosti confirmed that India could acquire a batch of Russian Su-57 combat aircraft, which she herself had previously refused.

At the moment, the issue of selling Su-57 fighters to India is being actively discussed, in particular, experts are discussing the feasibility of buying these combat aircraft

“What to bet on and spend money on acquiring several copies of new-generation cars, or on a significant increase in the number of well-known Indian pilots to reliable Su-30МКИ, also produced under a Russian license in India?- said Victor Kladov.

According to analysts, we are talking about a large batch of combat aircraft, since several combat vehicles will not give India any advantage, but any particular number is not specified, but according to the data that has appeared, we can talk about two dozen fighters.

Earlier, India criticized the Russian Su-57 for their dramatically increased cost, the lack of stealth technology, as well as their futility compared to the US F-35 and F-22.
