Indonesia intends to purchase a batch of Russian Su-35 fighters.

According to the portal Avia.pro, the Indonesian authorities have expressed their readiness to conclude a contract with domestic aircraft manufacturers to supply 8 Su-35 fighters, while there is evidence that, in the case of satisfaction, the order can be additionally expanded to 16 fighters of this model.

The interest in the acquisition of Russian Su-35 fighters is primarily due to the fact that these combat aircraft have perfectly demonstrated their capabilities, in addition, Indonesia in recent years has begun to seriously modernize its armed forces in order to enhance the country's defense capability.
