The Russian complex could be used against an American drone.

Independent analysts have put forward a version that Iran could use the Russian executive intelligence complex 1L222 Avtobaz against the downed American reconnaissance drone. It is assumed that the drone system incorrectly determined the location by GPS, in connection with which, the drone flew into the airspace of Iran.

Experts support their arguments, first of all, by the flight route of the American drone, which initially ran only 100-200 meters from the borders of the Iranian airspace, although possessing modern systems, even at a distance of several kilometers from the borders of the Islamic republic, this drone can receive objective information about the location Iranian air defense systems, radar equipment, etc.

Earlier, Iran had already used Russian systems of executive radio intelligence against UAV drones, as a result of which at least one of them intercepted control.

Experts did not rule out that the US arguments that the American drone was in international airspace are based primarily on data transmitted by the drone, which could be distorted by the impact of the Avtobaz complex.

It should be noted that no official comment has been received so far.
