According to the British TV channel Sky News, Iran has transferred 220 short-range ballistic missiles to Russia. The weapons were allegedly transported across the Caspian Sea and Western reconnaissance satellites were able to record the event by tracking the specific vessel that was delivering the cargo.

The delivery of Iranian short-range missiles is reported to be taking place against the backdrop of strengthening military-technical relations between Moscow and Tehran. According to experts, this deal indicates a further consolidation of efforts by Russia and Iran in the sphere of military cooperation, which is causing concern in Western countries, especially against the backdrop of the conflict in Ukraine.
