According to the Iranian news agency Fars, about 80% of the rockets fired by Iran at Israel hit their targets. The strike on Israeli targets was reportedly part of a response to recent Israeli attacks on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon and Syria. However, Israeli sources report that only about 20% were accurate - at least 100 successful hits on various targets in Israel were recorded.
Fars claims that Iran's strike operation was one of the largest in recent years, as confirmed by numerous videos and photographs circulated through Iranian and international media. The footage shows the aftermath of the missile strikes, including destruction in residential areas of Tel Aviv and its suburbs.
However, the Israeli side claims that most of the missiles were intercepted by the missile defense system and did not detonate or fell in remote areas, which is confirmed by the absence of casualties among Israeli citizens.
