The first flight of supersonic passenger aircraft Boom Supersonic will take place in 2018 year.

As reported by the press service of the American company Boom Technology, the presented concept of the Boom Supersonic airplane at the air show in Dubai, is currently being implemented in a full-scale model, and early next year, this aircraft, capable of transporting up to 55 people on its board, will be able to to rise in the air.

The main distinguishing feature of this supersonic airplane is the so-called "silent" technology, which does not cause a sound impact inherent in this type of aircraft, and the airman believes that, in reality, the airplane will be very popular, since it will be possible to fly between cities almost in 2,5 times faster.
