7 January 2014. A strong fog at Voronezh airport caused the cancellation and delay of many flights. Visibility on the runway fell to 250 meters (normal range of 800 m) and in height 30 meters (at a rate of 60 m).

In the dispatch room in the morning they were allowed to send flights to St. Petersburg and Moscow. The fog was formed due to a night snowfall. Weather forecasters say that this weather will last at least a day. The fog also enveloped Moscow.

Meteorological services and the Ministry of Emergency Situations warn that it is necessary to exercise increased caution on the roads.
