Due to the eruption of the Kluchevoy volcano, a yellow hazard code for civil aircraft has been entered

Because of the beginning of the eruption of the Klyuchevaya volcano, a yellow code for the flight of aircraft has been introduced in Kamchatka.

Currently, the ban on flights in the vicinity of the volcano will affect only airplanes flying at an altitude of up to 6 thousand meters, but it is possible that in the near future a flight ban will be introduced for absolutely all civil aircraft.

As has been repeatedly noted, the main danger for aircraft is volcanic ash, which can get into important aviation hubs of the aircraft, which can lead to the failure of some systems. Most airlines are already adjusting their routes, but there is no immediate threat.
