Israel continues to create tension on the border with Syria.

An unknown unmanned aerial vehicle belonging to the Israeli Air Force, about a day ago, violated the border of Syrian airspace in the Golan Heights, entering into the interior of Syria for about one kilometer. This fact was recorded by the Syrian air defense systems.

According to the “Syrian Military Capabilities” Twitter account, the drone stayed in Syrian airspace for about a minute and a half.

Taking into account the data of other information sources, at the time of the incident, neither the Russian nor the Syrian Air Force took off, however, it was reported that automatic weapons were fired in the Golan Heights, and therefore, there is an assumption that the Syrian military still opened fire on a drone, forcing the latter to leave the airspace of the Arab Republic.

Earlier it became known that Russian combat aircraft disrupted the Israeli military operation, thereby intercepting the Israeli Air Force fighters over southern Syria.
