December 3, 2013. Su-34 multifunctional fighter-bombers entered the aviation division of the Southern Military District in November 2013. After the arrival of the aircraft, the first squadron began to form at the airbase.

The pilots of the Southern Military District began military flights. With instructors, they will practice takeoff and landing, conduct aerial reconnaissance and learn how to behave correctly in emergency situations.

After successfully assimilating theory and practice, the pilots will be able to control the aircraft themselves. Their success will be evaluated by a special commission.
