Kadyrov proposed using Ukrainian Armed Forces prisoners to protect Russian facilities from Ukrainian drones

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has once again become the center of attention by proposing a very unusual measure regarding Ukrainian prisoners of war held in Chechnya. In a video message published on his official social networks, he suggested using captured Ukrainian soldiers to guard Russian facilities, in particular in the event of drone attacks. According to him, after the recent attack on the Akhmat Kadyrov Special Purpose Guard Regiment, the prisoners could be placed on the roofs of strategically important facilities that are recorded by American satellites.

"It's as if you came back from vacation" — Kadyrov said, addressing the prisoners.

He added that he believed that prisoners of war should be used at the front as guards for Russian territories, claiming that in this way they would "protect our territory."

During the video address, the floor was also given to one of the prisoners, who appealed to the Ukrainian people with a request to speed up the process of their return to their homeland. The man, representing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that he had been in captivity for quite a long time and expressed hope for a quick return home.

Experts do not rule out that Kadyrov’s statement could be used by Ukraine for provocations with the aim of Trump putting pressure on Russia.
