During a “direct line” broadcast, the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, admitted that he had never received a Tesla Cybertruck electric car as a gift from Elon Musk and called the story a joke.

"The car wasn't mine. I just came up with it as a joke and launched it."“, Kadyrov noted, answering questions from viewers.

At the same time, Kadyrov confirmed that the Tesla Cybertruck was indeed sent to the special military operation zone (SVO), equipped with a machine gun. However, according to him, the car did not live up to expectations in combat conditions.

"The next machine is coming, but they are not suitable for war. We sent it to war, put a machine gun there, but it was not suitable for war. Our "Patriot" is better for war than this car» — the head of Chechnya emphasized.

Earlier, the story about the Tesla Cybertruck, allegedly provided by Elon Musk to Kadyrov, caused a wide resonance both in Russia and abroad. However, Musk himself denied rumors on his social networks that he transferred the electric car to Chechnya.
