Qatar acquires from the United States fighters F-15 for an amount of 12 billion dollars.

The information portal Avia.pro became aware that the authorities of Qatar came to the intention to purchase from the US 36 fighter aircraft F-15, while the total amount of the transaction is about 12 billion dollars. By such actions, Qatar intends to increase its defense capability, and it is important to take into account the fact that, despite political pressure, the US authorities nevertheless approved the deal.

At the beginning of June, a number of countries broke off diplomatic relations with Qatar because of suspicions that the authorities were sponsoring terrorists of the "Islamic State" group banned in the Russian Federation, however, Qatar denied these allegations, calling them absolutely groundless.
