Pyongyang refused to resume negotiations with the United States.

The spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry made a statement to the North Korea Central Telegraph Agency (CTCA). It says that the DPRK does not intend to continue negotiations on the denuclearization of the peninsula until the United States makes efforts to normalize US-North Korean relations.

The diplomat stressed that until the United States leaves its assessment methods in the past and does not propose new approaches to the dialogue between the two countries, the dialogue between the DPRK and the United States will not begin.

The representative of the Foreign Ministry recalled that Pyongyang, giving a sign that he trusts the partner, has suspended the development of missiles and nuclear tests. He also returned the remains of United States soldiers killed during the Korean War.

It was not possible to wait for the counter steps from the Americans of Pyongyang. On the contrary, Washington made certain demands of the DPRK. At the same time, the Americans are trying to shift all the blame in the failed negotiations in Hanoi to North Korea. Given all this, the representative of the North Korean Foreign Ministry recommended that the United States return to reality and re-learn to engage in dialogue.

A DPRK diplomat stressed that the Americans would not be able to force his country to follow the plans being hatched in Washington.
