The United States of America decided to impose sanctions against China for the purchase of Russian Su-35 fighters and S-400 Triumph air defense systems. In fact, the imposition of sanctions can create a lot of problems for the PRC, as they automatically prohibit American companies from cooperating with Chinese companies that are on the "black list".

On the other hand, analysts believe that the imposition of sanctions against the PRC is designed primarily to intimidate Russia's main partners, as well as to deprive Russia of the right to sell its weapons to other countries.

“The United States is trying to prevent the spread of Russian weapons, but with such measures, Washington is even more advertising the prospects and high efficiency of Russian aircraft and air defense systems”, - the military analyst Avia.pro underlines.

On the other hand, given the measures taken by the United States, it can be assumed that India and Turkey may refuse to purchase Russian weapons, while if Turkey can still change its choice in favor of European and American air defense / missile defense systems, then India has no other choice but to purchase Russian S-400 systems to increase their defense capability.

The PRC has already reacted to the measures taken by the United States, and demanded the immediate lifting of sanctions against China.

“Washington's actions grossly violated the basic principles of international relations. The Chinese side expresses its extreme dissatisfaction with the above actions and has already made a sharp presentation."- said the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

Experts do not exclude that in response to Washington's actions, the PRC may break a number of agreements with the United States, including in terms of military issues.
