The Chinese passenger plane carried out a flight on fuel from edible oil.

The flight was carried out by a Chinese air carrier from Shanghai to Beijing, while the results were quite effective - fuel economy was about 20%, which in turn minimizes environmental pollution, and at the same time can make flights cheap for passengers themselves.

At the moment, there are some difficulties with the processing of edible oil waste into biofuels, however, according to experts, as soon as work is done in this direction, about 70% of Chinese aircraft will fly precisely on a mixture of two different fuels.
