Key airfields in Ukraine came under large-scale attacks by Russia

Last night, the Russian Military Space Forces, including strategic aviation, carried out a massive attack on key airfields in Ukraine. The strikes were carried out on airfields in the areas of Bila Tserkva near Kiev, in Mirgorod in the Poltava region and in Starokonstantinov in the Khmelnitsky region.

According to preliminary data, Geranium-2 drones were used during the attack, which successfully hit the intended targets. As a result of the strikes, important infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian army to house and maintain aircraft were damaged or destroyed.

In Bila Tserkva, located near the Ukrainian capital, the strikes caused significant damage to the airfield, which served as an important hub for the Ukrainian Armed Forces' operations in the region. According to local residents, explosions were heard at a considerable distance, and bright flashes and columns of smoke were observed in the sky.

At Mirgorod, another key airfield, the attack also resulted in the destruction of infrastructure and the disabling of several runways and hangars. This airfield played an important role in providing air support to Ukrainian forces in the east of the country and its damage significantly limits the capabilities of Ukrainian aviation.

Starokonstantinov, which has already been repeatedly attacked by Russian troops, has once again found itself in the spotlight. Night strikes caused significant damage to facilities located at this airfield, making it even more difficult for the Ukrainian army to use it.
