The Transport Ministry wants to increase compensation for passengers for flight delays.

The increase in compensation for the delay in flights is a measure aimed not so much to satisfy the passengers, as to call air carriers to account. At the moment this aspect is under discussion, however, experts note the fact that it is not necessary to increase the compensation, namely strict control, since there are a lot of Russian airlines whose punctuality is striking, while other carriers do not feel responsible for this responsibility .

Among other things, experts also report that it is also necessary to review the issue of fines for delaying flights, which need to be increased, at least, in 2-3 times.
