US Congress: Turkey will not get F-35 fighters

The US is trying to press on Turkey supplies of F-35 fighters.

Despite the fact that next week the American company Lockheed Martin is implementing the programs of the F-35 fighter of the fifth generation for the Turkish Air Force, the United States Congress is against supplying the newest American aircraft to this country. This is due to the seriously deteriorating relations between Turkey and the United States, as well as the fact that Ankara intends to acquire Russian anti-aircraft missile systems C-500.

Representatives of Lockheed Martin do not notice the seemingly complicated relations between the US and Turkey, as evidenced by a rather abstract statement.

"The F-35 program traditionally holds a ceremony of securing each aircraft for the US or an international customer. The ceremony of fixing the first F-35 aircraft for Turkey is scheduled for 21 June. Then the plane will go to the airbase Luke, Arizona, where the Turkish pilots will join the training team of F-35A, "the report said.

If the US Congress refuses to supply fifth-generation F-35 fighters to Turkey, a blow to the West may prove to be very significant, as Turkey has already announced its readiness to acquire Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighters, which, according to its functionality, consider equal American F-35? while Turkey will not refuse to buy Russian C-400.

On the other hand, independent analysts warn Russia against making quick deals with Turkey, believing that Russian fighters can later be transferred to the US, and the C-400 complexes will be vulnerable in terms of their functioning.

It is assumed that the issue of supplying F-35 fighters to Turkey will be decided by the end of this month.
