The chief designer of the IL aircraft, Henry Novozhilov, celebrated his 90 anniversary.

Legendary Soviet and Russian aircraft continue to be actively maintained and today, and the launch of such aircraft as the Il-86 and IL-96, allowed to adequately respond to foreign manufacturers, in particular, are meant «Airbus» and «Boeing».

Henry Novozhilov began his career with an ordinary engineer, but later, he was able to demonstrate his great experience in the design of aircraft, thereby becoming the closest ally of Ilyushin.

Despite 90-year-old age, Henry Novozhilov still continues to work in the design bureau, regularly coming to his office and implementing new developments in terms of aircraft construction, and it is thanks to such people that the domestic aircraft industry continues to develop.
