The Iranian military, who arrived at the scene of the incident after receiving a distress signal, rescued several Russian citizens, while the media reported that someone from the crew was injured, but the representative of which country the wounded was, was not specified.

As can be seen on the video frames presented, the oil tanker received colossal damage, however, the specialists, in their turn, doubted that this was a torpedo attack.
